The other nite I was at agility with my dogs. Above the din of dogs barking I could hear crows fussing over something. I looked a little closer and there was a crow on the ground, with 4 crows appearing to be dive-bombing it. As I watched, I realized that the crows were in fact trying to get the grounded one to fly! It was really cool to watch. I would assume the grounded one was sick or hurt, cause it would attempt to fly but was not able to stay up long before dropping back to the ground. It was coming on dusk, so I assume they were rushing to their nightly nesting site. He slowly made his way out of my sight, a little at a time. Maria Debert NS
