Hi all
Yesterday evening ( April 27) Charlie Kendall and I did some exploring in the Thorburn square (20NR34) hiking to a marsh I had not been to before yet only a few km from home. Atlassing does make you go to places you would not go to before. We were surprised to hear an early SORA calling as well as an AMERICAN BITTERN "gulping". Both were firsts for the year. Location near Linacy. Earlier in the day, I had a GREATER YELLOWLEGS at Lyons Brook, a usaul site for first spring sighting. Tree Sparrows still at my Plymouth feeder.
cheers
Ken
