17 April 2009

There are many territorial Fox Sparrows along the road to Lower
Prospect, with at least six males noted during my last walk
there. And a walk yesterday to Wagner's Beach, off the Prospect
Village Road, turned up another Fox Sparrow, a male Northern Harrier
back on his territory, and a Red-necked Grebe in Wagner's Cove.

There is still no sign of Double-crested Cormorants returning to
their colony on Inner Gull Island in Shad Bay.

Cheers,

Blake
