A pair were seen tonight at 6:00 in downtown Liverpool. Peter Davies had =
heard from neighbors this morning that there were two on the mudflats =
below the lighthouse (seen at 9:00 this am). He checked this out about =
noon and then called me and we both checked out the area but it was high =
tide and there were no exposed mudflats. Tonight on the way back from =
Broad Cove (only the Summer Tanager was seen), Cyde Stoddart and I =
stopped in town to look and found them in across the river from the =
original location. To get to the mudflats turn towards the Hank Snow =
museum and take a dirt road to the right. Follow that road to the =
barricades and from there walk across a small field where there are =
lobster traps and a couple of blue containers. The birds were seen in =
that area. Good luck and good birding.
