11 April 2009 Two of the photos of the Swallow-tailed Kite that appeared in Truro yesterday have been placed in the photos section of the Nova Scotia Rare Bird Alert. The bird was discovered and photographed by Kimberley Forster. The bird was last seen as it flew in the direction of Victoria Park, and there have been no subsequent reports. The photo pages of the RBA are available only to the members of the NS-RBA, though the group's message archive is open to everyone. If you are interested in being part of the RBA please contact either myself or Ian McLaren.
