Join Halifax Field Naturalists and Norman Green to learn about an ongoing project to protect the endangered Blanding's Turtle. N.S. Museum of Natural History, 1747 Summer Street at 7:30. Please contact 453-9244 if further information is required.
Saturday, April 4, 2009 - Sackville River Walk
Join Halifax Field Naturalists for a walk along the Sackville River with the Sackville Rivers Association. Leaders on this trip will be Walter Regan (SRA President), Rich Peckham from the trails committee, and botanist and naturalist Sebastien Marquis. The 2 Hr walk will be easy to moderate. Time and place: 9:00 a.m. at Lynn Court, just off Old Sackville Road, near the intersection between Cobequid Road and Sackville Drive. Please contact 453-9244 if further information is required.
