I'm not sure how the other teams in the field did=2C but Dorothy Poole and =
I came up with only 29 species. We did find some good birds though.
=20
Red-throated Loon 1 At the waterfront pull off looking back towards the tre=
ssel Bridge.
=20
Northern Mockingbird - #38 King Street. I believe this is still in the Liv=
erpool Limits. This is on of the side streets if heading from Liverpool to=
wards Milton on the Liverpool side. There is a huge multifloral area there=
. The house with the bird has plants with lots of berries. We're thinking=
hawthorn bushes. Last seen on a tree branch in the sun in back of the hou=
se.
=20
Rusty Blackbird - Adult non-breeding male. This bird was observed closely =
at about 15 feet initially and then at about 8 feet. It was on the trail w=
hich is off the tressle Bridge. A streets goes off the drag from Liverpool=
to Milton=2C just before the Tressle Bridge=2C but cuts between two parts =
of the trail. The side where the bird was is the more vegetated one with n=
ice cover along the trail. Before coming out on a another cross street is =
where the bird was. If heading up the road that transects the two parts of=
the trail=2C it is on the left side. Walk to where you are about ready to=
break out of the vegetation. There is a small hill on a property=2C which=
is private. If you are tall enough you can see two feeders by a house=2C =
which is on the main stretch from Liverpool to Milton=2C behind the house a=
nd these feeders cannot be seen from the main drag. It is near these feede=
rs where the bird was last observed. This would be to your left if are fac=
ing the cross street just after breaking out of the vegetation section.
