Hello, hello...
Through a friend of a friend... they saw the Tanager in South End Hfx on
Sunday.  However, they claim it had wing bars. Having not seen this bird...
is there anything about its winter colours that may make it look like wing
bars?!  I know its been solidly identified as a Summer, so this could just
be a novices mistake.  But... never hurts to ask.
