Hi Everyone; I was hoping for some news from the largest CBC count in eastern Canada, but no-one has reported on any of the sightings from the Halifax CBC. Regardless, I've updated the Winter List page. Go to: http://tinyurl.com/nswinter I've included the many sightings reported to the NS-RBA, as well as some noted here on NatureNS. Some new additions to the list include Black Vulture, Laughing Gull, Mew Gull, LeConte's Sparrow, Hoary Redpoll (on the Shubenacadie CBC), Long-billed Dowitcher, Wood Duck, Cooper's Hawk, and Manx Shearwater (photos pending). I imagine once the reports from the Halifax count arrive there will be additions to the list. And many more CBCs await.
