Greetings, A summary of input received during public consultation on the designation of Blue Mountain-Birch Cove Lakes Wilderness Area is now available. The web page will be updated as designation proceeds. Printed copies of these information materials can be obtained by contacting protectedareas@gov.ns.ca or by calling (902) 424-2117. A discussion paper on the socioeconomic effects of designating this candidate wilderness area will also be released in the coming weeks for public comment.
