I had a report of a Northern Shrike from Bay St. Lawrence. This was at
the tip (home of Joe Curtis-reported by Wilma MacKinnon) so the next stop
for these birds would be Ireland!.
The Summer Tanager that I reported at my uncle's; Jim &
Millie LaRusic's; in Bay St. Lawrence on Nov.15th.; remains at their
feeders eating suet and some seeds. I visited yesterday to try and get
better photos but the bird remains very skittish and although I got some
more video it is not much better than the one I pulled stills from when I
first saw the bird. It was around the house most of the time I was
there and appears in very good health.
My uncle also reported to me that he had seen a Snowy
Owl in a roadside field near Capstick.
The Baltimore Oriole that was at my feeders left on
Nov. 23rd. On Nov.21st. a second Baltimore Oriole was around for a few
hours.
    All the best.
