I remember doing the Wolfville Christmas Bird Count about 20 years ago,
and coming across a flock of 40-50 drunken robins in a pear orchard.
Some of the pears had been left on the trees, and they had all
fermented. The robins had partaken and were singing like a bunch of
rowdy sailors on shore leave, and flying very erratically -- and there
were a couple of orioles with them doing the same.
