Yesterday and today so far, there is an oriole in the grapevine. It visits
for short periods of time then flies across the septic mound up into an ash
tree and sits up in the highest branches calling and tweaking its beak.
Doesn't seem that alarmed buy or movements but is fast to disappear when the
Blue Jays romp in.
There is a red bellied woodpecker that seems to be shadowing the movements
of a Northern Flicker. They spent a number of hours moving around the
property. No visible sign of aggression between them.
