Nov. 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the program room of the New Glasgow Library. Randy Lauff will give an illustrated presentation on "Creating and Maintaining Nest Boxes for Birds". From larger Owls and Kestrels to medium Woodpeckers and Bluebirds and small Tree Swallows and Black-capped Chickadees, all will often utilize man-made boxes and platforms. Randy will have many illustrations of common to rare species he has had use his boxes in NS. All are welcome to what will be a great learning session and maybe some will start construction of a project to get some boxes for some of the larger species out before more snow flies so owls can find them before their nesting season early next spring.
