Each year for the past three years, a NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD has arrived
on our street here in Port Hawkesbury about this time and spent the
winter. A Mockingbird arrived again this year about October15 and is
currently feeding on local berries. We expect it will be looking for a
supply of blueberries provided by us once the berries are gone.
We believe this has been the same bird each year but how could one ever
know for sure? David Johnston.
