I just had a very nice and very pretty bird; one I am not at all familiar with to my recollection. A male black-throated blue warbler spent about an hour working its way around my grapevine. It was scratching its foot into different bunches of fruit and either eating that pulp or maybe picking out seeds. I don't have a seed cake out yet, as we are being visited nightly by a masked bandit who seems intent on taking away the sunflower seed feeder more so than grapes. Sadly I didn't manage to get a photo. There were a number of chickadees feeding at the same time but I don't think they were travelling together. It flew away to the apple tree out back and there I lost it due to lack of light. Marg Millard, White Point, Queens http://margmillard.ca
