Index of Subjects This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --Boundary_(ID_HqheRT9Aji91MwXwtDdrhg) Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT Halifax Field Naturalists Meeting Thursday, November 6, 2008 - Nature Where You Find It, with Keith Vaughan -- Museum of Natural History, Summer St., 7:30 The photography of natural history ranges from the wide angle images of breathtaking vistas, as you would see in the Southwest USA , to the tiniest of creatures such as a spider. The photographic techniques used to capture a variety of subjects are as varied as the subjects themselves. Photographing landscapes with a wide angle lens presents a different challenge from that of capturing an image of a small wildflower waving from side to side in the fresh breeze with a macro lens. Keith Vaughan has travelled extensively in North America and Europe in search of wild orchids (N.S., the UK, Italy, Spain), red-rock landscapes (Arizona, Utah, California), animals (Canadian Rockies), and spiders (Kejimkujik). Keith will be showing us examples of his best nature work with this traditional, 35mm-film slide show. --Boundary_(ID_HqheRT9Aji91MwXwtDdrhg) Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2900.5659" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV> <DIV class=3Dmeet_date><STRONG>Halifax Field Naturalists = Meeting</STRONG></DIV> <DIV class=3Dmeet_date><STRONG>Thursday, November 6, 2008 =96 <SPAN=20 class=3Dmeet_title>Nature Where You Find It, with Keith Vaughan -- = Museum of=20 Natural History, Summer St., 7:30 </SPAN></STRONG>The=20 photography of natural history ranges from the wide angle images of = breathtaking=20 vistas, as you would see in the Southwest USA , to the tiniest of = creatures such=20 as a spider.
