For the past few days I have been having regular visits from a female downey who settles into the seed-catcher 'saucer' base of my tube feeder and picks away at the seeds in the saucer (black/striped sunflower, white millet, nyger and mixed wild bird seeds for up to 10-12minutes at a time - I do not yet have my suet feeder up.
