Hi All:

It is with great excitement that I report that I had (what I believe to be)
a Carolina Wren in my yard this morning! I was coming up from the basement
and happened to look out the window to my backyard and noticed a bird with a
yellow-ish belly in my empty gazebo feeder. It's tail was sticking right up
so my initial thought was that it was some sort of wren. I ran and grabbed
my camera, and got some poor quality shots (don't have a telephoto anymore)
but good enough for an ID. It was being very aggressive, chasing a Song
Sparrow and a Chickadee before it went to my neighbor's yard. Here is my
best shot:

I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm or correct my ID on this bird for
my yard list!

On another note, I've had a lone Pine Siskin visiting my feeders in the past
week, and yesterday a flock of Evening Grosbeaks passed overhead but didn't
come down to the feeders.

Cheers!

Cindy
