My wife Marian saw three Black Guillemot early in the afternoon on Monday, 29 Sep, here in Hubley Cove at Seabright, St. Margaret's Bay, Halifax RM. I did not get to see the birds myself, but have examined her photographs. The birds were in winter garb, which is light colour. I was on the telephone (on hold!) at the time, and so missed seeing these guillemot in person. Argh. I never even got my call connected, either.
