We are experiencing a pretty awesome and spectacular raptor migration today.
Hundreds of Broadwings, Sharpies, and a few Goshauks. One birder identified
and imm. Golden eagle. Really nice viewing with the high cirrus clouds. What
surprised me was that it started so early in the day, before 10 a.m. and I
predict it to get better as the birds are kettling in from the north in
increasing numbers.
