An Ovenbird had been around off and on over the morning. I don't think it was eating the corn, but it was picking it up, and dropped most kernals again (I didn't actually see it swallow any). I think it was more probing...looking for things that squirmed when touched (indicating food), though I'm not sure. However, May and I did watch the Ovenbird grab the tail feathers of a Junco and start yanking. Very odd. We also had Common Yellowthroat and Black-and-white Warblers in the yard today (one of each).
