Godwit, several Willets, both Yellowlegs, lots of Sempalm. Plovers, some
Sanderlings, a few Semipalm. Sandpipers and one Ruddy Turnstone. At least a
dozen Common Terns were busily fishing or loafing.

There were few shorebirds at "Shorebird Cove" - the tide seemed to be well
out still around 3:30 PM.

At most other locations farther along the tide was quite high so feeding or
roosting shorebirds were hard to find. The highlight of the day however
came at the end of Shore Road in West Chezzetcook where a Peregrine Falcon
was perched on a rock, surveying lots of water and not a shorebird in sight!
Peregrines are an unusual sighting along the Eastern Shore at least in my
experience.
