Index of Subjects I have one hummingbird on my feeders that, at first, I thought was moulting. Now I am not so sure. It has has quite an irregular lift on the side of its head and seems to be getting more than its share of attacks from the others. It gives back very handily so maybe it is just displaced feathers, I suppose but it has been like that quite awhile and I would think feathers would have sorted by now. The way these guys attack each other, I am amazed they aren't all tea bags. I will try to get a photo but we have roofers here and that has the birds all worked up. They are zipping through the scaffolding and around the workers, one of whom hasn't ever seen them before.
