Hi Everyone
This morning i got a chance to get out on the water and there was no FOG!
Clouds of phalaropes, and more Greater shearwaters in the showing up in
the area. Some sooty shearwaters, wilson storm petrel, puffins, and gannets.
Also sighted 5 humpbacks one pair was rooftop and her calf. Her calf decided
to breach several times before it was time to go and inspect our boat a
little closer with mother and calf swimming underneath of our boat. On land
the Eastern Mountain Avens are still in flower, lots of purple fringed
orchids, club-spur, and hooded ladies-tresses. Blueberries are in the
fruiting stage along with the artic whortleberry-vaccinium uliginosum. Gini
Prouxl checked out the Golden crest and she tells me they are doing well.
