I took some photos in the mid-1980's of a couple of very tall specimens of Helleborine on the property of Viola Sperka in Barrington (Brass Hill area)in Shelburne County. There were many interesting plants there as one of the previous owners was Belle Hopkins, an amateur botanist. The plants were behind the house on the west side and about ten metres from the house. Perhaps Roland would be able to check if the plants are still there? Or Heather, if the Wild Flora trip goes through Barrington, you might want to ask to visit the property. Sorry I don't know who bought Sperk's place. Cheers, Joan
