JUNE 24, 2008 - Robie Tufts Nature Centre in Wolfville at dusk:
observations from 8:55 to 9:40 p.m. (Sunset 9:05) -- entries to
chimney by swifts at 9:18 to 9:35 p.m. -- TOTAL of 8 CHIMNEY SWIFTS
counted as they entered -- clear sky, light wind from west, warm, 22
C. -- observer Jim Wolford.

Fred? Forsythe (brother of Bernard) mentioned to me that recently he
had heard CHIMNEY SWIFTS near University Hall on the Acadia Univ.
campus where he works. Of course, many years ago hundreds of swifts
roosted in the southwest chimney of Univ. Hall -- the ventilation
system was renovated there many years ago, and since then I think
only a few swifts use that chimney (for nesting?) -- BUT nobody has
been looking and listening up there for a long time (hint, hint, for
SOMEBODY to check it!?).

JUNE 25, 2008 - Robie Tufts Nature Centre in Wolfville at dusk:
observations from 8:45 to 9:40 p.m. (Sunset 9:05) -- clear sky, light
breeze -- TOTAL OF 9 CHIMNEY SWIFTS entered chimney from 9:05 to 9:30
-- observer Tony Napoli.
