Would this be the book you are referring to?

The flora of Nova Scotia
    Roland, A. E. (Albert Edward), 1910-
Publisher: Nova Scotia Museum,
Pub date: 1969.
Pages: 746 p. :
Item info: 1 copy available at Headquarters Collection - AVRL.

If so, I see we have a copy available in Annapolis Valley Regional Library.

We also have access to the NS Universities Libraries (Novanet) through the
AVRL website (Other Libraries when doing a search). We frequently bring in
books from universities for our patrons; saves the hassle and a trip for
many people.

Hi All, July 3, 2008
The 1966 Roland and Smith edition (paper bound) of the flora is superior
to the more recent edition and so far as I know is still available from
the NSIS Librarian at Dalhousie. If anyone cares to check this out I can
likely dig out the e-mail address.
