I agree it's a good idea to cut down on driving for Birdwatching, however if
it's for the MBBA and surveys of the like from which the birds will
(hopefully) benefit in the long run, I'd say it's OK to drive across the
province. One could also make the most out of their trip by carpooling and
getting the most possible squares, points, etc., done during the trip. I'm
not a driver but I am in the process of getting a driver's license and these
are my intensions for what I'll do with the privilege.

friendly competitions that raise awareness of birds.
