This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0244_01C8CBF7.8C47B750 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Last Friday (June 6) Peter Davies called to tell me about a Red-bellied = Woodpecker in Liverpool (I did not see the bird and it turns out it was = a one-day sighting) but on my way back from checking for it I heard and = saw an Indigo Bunting. With my scope I saw that it was a first year male = as it still had a lot of brown. Today (June 11) it is still singing in = the same area and nearby I heard and saw two more! One of these is in = all blue plumage but the other one was too far for me to see. Last = Sunday (June 8) on my way to atlas a new square on the River Road from = Milton I heard and saw another Indigo Bunting. This makes four so far = in Queens county. The Great Crested Flycatchers were found by Peter = Davies on Monday (June 9). He saw at least six that day. I checked later = that day and saw two. Yesterday I checked but did not see anything but = today they are again vocalizing. =20 The Great Crested Flycatchers are hanging around the Anglican Cemetary = which is on Bog Road in Liverpool. This road is next to the Municipal = building on Rt 3 (the White Point Road) on the left. Follow it a short = distance as it curves right and you are at the cemetary.=20 One of the Indigo Buntings is at the corner of Brunswick and George St. = The other two were a short distance away at the corner of Common and = King St. George St is a right turn from Rt. 3 before you reach the = Municipal building. =20 Keep your ears and eyes out for the Red-bellied Woodpecker because it = was seen in the yard of the house next to the Municipal building. Thanks to Peter Davies for finding the Great Crested Flycatchers. He is = doing volunteer work at the cemetary so who knows what else he will = find. Dorothy Poole PS there were two Barred Owl fledgings the other night at the cemetary. ------=_NextPart_000_0244_01C8CBF7.8C47B750 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.6000.16674" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Last Friday (June 6) Peter Davies = called to=20 tell me about a Red-bellied Woodpecker in Liverpool (I did not see the = bird and=20 it turns out it was a one-day sighting) but on my way back from = checking=20 for it I heard and saw an Indigo Bunting.
