The Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks seen yesterday in Ipswich, Massachusetts, included one, 
according to observers there, that had "an abnormal growth" at the base of its bill. My 
pictures of the birds at Country Harbour, Guys. Co., on June 1 clearly show the same bird - 
see the photos on the NS-RBA website. So "our" birds made it to Massachusetts yesterday - 
and, incidentally, they were seen flying off to the S from their Ipwsich location about 7pm EDT  
yesterday.
