The Space Station(ISS) and Shuttle, Discouvery (STS mission#124) make  
a good pass across the northern sky this evening just before 10 p.m.  
They will be in view for the whole pass from when it comes into view  
above the NW shortly after 9:54 p.m., reaching a peak above the NNE  
at 9:57 p.m., elevation 33 degrees in Avonport.  The more north of 45  
deg N. Lat. you are the higher the pass will be, as you can see from  
the track link here.

The shuttle is now docked to the space station (since about 3:30 this  
afternoon) last evening when I observed a near overhead of the two  
objects, they were apart,  following one behind the other (about a  
minute apart).  There should be about 11 or 12 people onboard during  
the pass.

About 11:30 p.m. you can catch them coming out of the WNW,    at  
11:31:30 they run into the edge of Earth's shadow (altitude about 35  
degrees) above the WSW.  Here is a link to the track on that pass.   
 From Avonport, the visible part of the ISS pass takes it nearly in  
line first with Mars (near when it comes in view) then Saturn (just  
before it hits Earth shadow). From what I can judge, the further  
north one is the nearer the pass will be in line with the planets.
