Hi, up at our country place , our lawn often has dug up spots. We don't have skunks but do have woodchucks or groundhogs.(I think they are the same animal.) I have seen the animal out on the lawn. He/she lives under our barn until we start to come around and then for the summer it locates nearby,out of sight but still close enough to do a number on the lawn. Heather D
