Index of Subjects On the west part of the Montreal island where our daughter lives (Dollard-des-Ormeaux), they have this same problem. It is extensive in their neighborhood. Our son-in-law reports seeing claw marks in the dirt around the dug up sods. They do most definitely have racoons, but not, apparently, skunks. From what their neighbors tell them, it is a relatively new phenomenon.
