It was the crane fly that I had in mind, but I always called them daddy or Jenny longlegs. The true daddy longlegs must be that very long legged "grass" spider like insect I see, even indoors. Interesting that "wireworms" are beetle larvae, not worms. My new fact for the day! One is always learning! I'll have to brush up on my insect terminology!
