Here at my feeders in White's Lake there is no apparent shortage of White-throated Sparrows. In the past two weeks there have been daily visits from at least 20 birds, perhaps more, roughly equally split between the White-striped and the Tan-striped forms. These numbers are consistent with other years, and I am now hearing them regularly on nearby trails (Nichol's Lake trail, Osprey Club trail, Shag End peninsula).
