Although some are reporting a wide variety of arriving warblers, many
have yet to arrive in Palmeter Woods.

Common this morning were Ovenbirds, Least Flycatcher, Black-throated
Green & Parula Warbler. Still uncommon are Chestnut-sided Warbler,
Black and White Warblers & Blue-headed Vireo. There were 3-4
Yellowthroats & 1 Winter Wren. A Pileated Woodpecker was making quite
a noise. A new species today was (2) Red-eyed Vireo.

Nancy Nickerson heard a Veery this am but I have yet to find any.

Mustard Whites were found along the main trail in twos and threes but
at several sites there were dozens.

Found one Juvenal's Duskywing (a little ragged) along the path. Pic here:

Also had a Ovenbird close enough for some reasonable photos (2):

Nearer home there were 3-4 Yellow Warblers. Also one Redstart but did
not hear any Catbirds. All are common later in these second growth hardwoods.
