Just curious. Did you actually see the virginia rail? Maybe you coaxed =
it out of its hiding, eh? I would love to see one... liz

Hi all
Harry and Jean Brennan saw 2 adult Caspian Terns at Moser R., HRM, May =
14. They also noted a Red-necked Grebe at Moosehead, HRM, on May 8. It =
was in basic plumage.=20
I have an adult male Baltimore Oriole at my oriole feeder this morning =
(May 16). On migration count day (May10) I had a Virginia Rail in a pond =
between West Branch and Louisville near River John, Pictou Co. I also =
had a pair of N. Shoveler at Rushton Beach PP.=20
It was a reasonably good day for the migration count in Pictou Co. with =
over 100 species tallied so far including about 9 species of warbler. =
Te rain held off till 10pm. I still have a handful of people to hear =
from yet.=20
cheers
Ken
