I have another unknown to me here in White Point. Steve saw it first on the grapevine and when I got there it dropped down and went under the car, then as I grabbed the camera it disappeared. I saw it briefly about sunset last evening and again around 8 am this morning. It is the same shape as a robin and looks like it could be one except it is smaller, a touch finer build. The breast is much paler and there is something different about it somehow. I got the impression of white flashing from under the wing, just a tiny spot, not like a rump or belly, when it dropped down to the ground. It hops kind of sharply instead of walking hop. Make any sense to anyone? Maybe it is just a small robin but the colouring is off, to my mind. Suggestions?? I will be keeping an eye out for it again but I ahve a lot on my table for today so I might not get a picture. Marg, White Point, Queens http://margmillard.ca
