While walking over to the osprey nest at Russel Lake I came across what =
I think is a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. This was a first for me and I'm not =
sure of the identification. One of my pictures does show the ruby =
stripe on his crown though. If anyone could help me on this please =
email me - thanks.

See pictures at =

Also noted that the female osprey appears to be incubating eggs now.

Other birds noted:

1 Yellow-rumped Warbler
6 M/F Ring-necked ducks (3 pairs)
2 Black ducks
1 pair of Mallards
2 Blue Jays building nests
6 - 8 Song Sparrows - singing and building nests.
