As far as I know, there were some previous records of Leach's Storm Petrels
being sighted on and off Pearl Island, on Bon Portage Island, and rarely off
Brier Island. The info I have given is what I know in the last ten years,
but no details... Local birders including myself would be interested in
knowing the latest info online - rather than in private. Many thanks.
Cheers, liz.

> Mark Butler called to inquire on behalf of a birder from away who
will be in Halifax a week from now and hopes to maybe get a chance to
see and tick-off a thick-billed murre and/or a Leach's storm-petrel.
Anyone who can offer some relevant help, please contack Mark Butler
at the Ecology Action Centre. Thanks very much, from Jim in Wolfville.
