Jen, please send the seal photos, and I MIGHT be able to identify  
it.  Same for the whales (perhaps minkes? or pilot whales?) if you  
find any photos and see them yourself.  Just a day or two ago there  
was a photo in the Herald of a whale (at Sydney?) identified as  
EITHER a northern bottlenosed whale or a minke whale -- the photo  
looked to me like a minke pretty definitely.  Cheers from Jim in
