Generally speaking, Lincoln's Sparrows start to get reported from Cape Breton in the first or second week in May so they probably arrive in Antigonish Co. around that time as well. All the best, Lance ======================================== Lance Laviolette Records Editor NS Birds lance.laviolette@lmco.com ======================================== ________________________________ From: naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca [mailto:naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca] On Behalf Of Randy Lauff Sent: Sunday, April 20, 2008 7:29 PM To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca Subject: [NatureNS] Lincoln's Sparrows - when? Can someone let me know when Lincoln's Sparrows arrive in their area? Or, can anyone provide a relative date, e.g. "the week before hummingbirds arrive" or "with the first Black-throated Greens"? Thanks, Randy _________________________________ RF Lauff Way in the boonies of Antigonish County, NS. --Boundary_(ID_bvslhDT/xMntacnIQ1nTCw) Content-type: text/html; charset=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=us-ascii"> <META content="MSHTML 6.00.2900.3314" name=GENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY> <DIV dir=ltr align=left><SPAN class=750284613-22042008><FONT face=Arial color=#0000ff size=2>Hi Randy,</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV dir=ltr align=left><SPAN class=750284613-22042008><FONT face=Arial color=#0000ff size=2></FONT></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV dir=ltr align=left><SPAN class=750284613-22042008><FONT face=Arial color=#0000ff size=2>Lincoln's Sparrows are not the most reported of birds but I had a look at what has been sent in to NS Birds over the last nine years.
