Helene Helene Van Doninck DVM Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre Truro NS -----Original Message----- From: naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca [mailto:naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca]On Behalf Of Patrick Giffin Sent: Friday, April 18, 2008 8:29 PM To: NATURENS Subject: [NatureNS] Song Sparrow attacking Sideview mirrors Hi: Andre Elief in Ravenwood Subdv., Kingston was not pleased about having to repeatedly clean the bird droppings from his car over the last week. A couple of days ago he sighted the culprit and has provided very good photos. A Song Sparrow, is attacking/pecking at its' image in the sideview mirrors. In the process leaving droppings on the windows and sides of the car. I am aware of N. Cardinals doing this but this is the first Song Sparrow we have heard about.
