HI Pat, my wildlife rehab centre gets calls every spring about behaviour
like that, if my memory serves me right...so far I've seen robins, bluejays,
juncos, crows, and ravens exhibiting such displays.

Subject: [NatureNS] Song Sparrow attacking Sideview mirrors

  Hi:
Andre Elief in Ravenwood Subdv., Kingston was not pleased about having to
repeatedly clean the bird droppings from his car over the last week.
A couple of days ago he sighted the culprit and has provided very good
photos.
A Song Sparrow, is attacking/pecking at its' image in the sideview
mirrors.
In the process leaving droppings on the windows and sides of the car.
I am aware of N. Cardinals doing this but this is the first Song Sparrow
we have heard about.
  Cheers, Pat
