Hi all, I'm a new grad student at Dal, starting my research on communication in nestling tree swallows. The field season is approaching, but I am still searching for field sites. As such, I was wondering if anyone might know of locations within about a 45-minute drive of Wolfville, where I could find tree swallows nesting in natural cavities (i.e. not in boxes). I'm new to the NatureNS list, so maybe relevant things have already been posted, but any tips you guys might have would be much appreciated. I'd also be more than happy to answer any questions you might have about my project before divulging nest locations. Cheers, Liz Fairhurst M.Sc. candidate (Biology) Dalhousie University
