There was a lovely Eastern Phoebe in my yard this morning.  Flicking  
its tail looking hopefully towards my pond... which is unfortunately  
frozen over.  It then ventured towards my neighbours pond which is  
deeper and thus not frozen.  I could hear its "chirp" but no longer  
see it.
