Also this evening THE SPACE STATION makes a visible pass just as the
very thin crescent moon is setting.

Visible first out of the NW about 8:47 p.m., maximum at 26 degrees
above north horizon between 8:48 and 8:49, ending in the ENE about 8:51

It makes a similar pass about 90 some minutes later, except it hits
Earth's shadow 1/3 of way into pass. Out of WNW after 10:21 p.m.,
enters Earth shadow at 10:22:26 p.m., 20 degrees above WNW (very
brief) Take this link to refine altitudes and times from a location
near you

or use spaceweather's Satellite Flybys

SATURN and REGULUS make a nice pair MARS in the belly of the Gemini
Twins
A neat sight in the SSE is the nice pair that Saturn makes with star,
Regulus, in LEO the Lion. LEO's head forms a nice "backward question
mark" or old fashioned "sycle" up from Regulus.

Mars is also visible well up in the south abou 9:p.m. in the midst of
constellation GEMINI.

Here is a star map link , good for Eastern Canada (I've set it for
Truro) at the time you make the link. Also, you can enter any time
for which you want the chart drawn. Map centre is overhead. The
directions on the map edge to match with your horizon, are indicated.
Submitting Size 800 instead of the given, 500, makes a bigger map, etc.

The evening sky possibilities are looking good!
    All the best,
          Sherman
