Hi Pat

My mother has seen Pileated woodpeckers a few times on or near her street in
Halifax south end in the past. It must have flown across the Northwest arm,
which is a short distance.

Cheers, liz
........

A colleague told me today that yesterday (30th), while walking in Point
Pleasant Park, he saw a Pileated Woodpecker. I don't think I've ever heard
of one being seen there; perhaps it flew over from the Northwest Arm or from
McNab's Island.

Cheers,

Patricia L. Chalmers
