The Nova Scotia Wild Flora Society monthly meeting will take place at 7:30 Monday, March 24, 2008 in the NS Museum of Natural History auditorium, Summer Street, Halifax.

Our speaker is Danielle Wharton from Port Joli who will give a talk and slide show about this rich area where there is evidence of early settlement of Native Mic Mac peoples, where there are shell middens, and rare plants. This is an area that should be preserved and Danielle is working with the NCC to acquire these historic lands along the coast adjacent to Thomas Raddall park. Come and bring a friend!
