Hi Ian

I saw one corormant sporting white flanks in the same cove in early
January, which was a surprise.

Cheers, liz

Following up on Patricia Cahalmers' note, and being limited by hearing
deficiencies, I can add a visual sign of spring. One of five Great
Cormorants
sitting on a raft off Purcells Cove yesterday had white flank patches. The
hormones of spring act in various ways.

Cheers, Ian McLaren
